Mimi and the stonedog

A lovely drawing by Jane: its merits seem refreshingly instinctive. There seems so little uncertainty in the markmaking.

Above, a philosophical meeting of minds between model and dog. Love the glasses… but should the nearer foot be bigger, perhaps? It would help in the quite difficult task of showing how one leg is crossed over the other.
