Calendars
I have made a calendar for friends and clients every year since 1987. True, not a single one has ever been finished in time to reach their destinations for January 1st, but I find people have much patience and faith that I will deliver eventually.
It’s always been a chance to pull out some of my better drawings and give them more of a life than they would get from their single commission alone. It’s also a chance to play with hand lettering.
Some calendars have had themes, some are no more than a random cobbling together. In recent years I have used drawings first produced for the annual Inktober challenge. Two examples are Brexitwocky and Alphabestiary
