Amber in a setting, by Rod


The setting, with cushions, mirror and lampstand creating a set of distinct shapes against which Amber gave us a number of 15-20-minute poses.
The set-up encouraged a more graphic approach, emphasising outlines rather than tone and shadow.



Rod used simple, strong outlines to give his shapes form and flatness. This made them ripe for ‘colorising’.
