Fruit and veg session

Only Angela could draw a pair of apples like this, which is what makes it so special.

I like the way Jane’s pictures sometimes reflect the painting process as a battle between artist and subject. Frustrations and mind-changes are laid bare, injecting a dynamism into a subject that might otherwise be seen as staid.

This was a wonderfully unruly cabbage, and Jane has captured its character perfectly.

I thought this was going well when time ran out. I hope you can go on with it, and I’ve posted a photo reference below ( sorry it’s a bit bleached out, but should give you enough I think).


One advantage of a small class is that I get the chance to join in.
