Toi at the Old Vicarage•1

For only the second time in its 10-year history, Dudlow Drawing artists went on a drawing holiday together. The destination was the Old Vicarage at Ovingham on the banks of the River Tyne in Northumbria.

With a chilly forecast for Day One, I booked in a model from nearby Newcastle so that we could draw inside. TOI proved a perfect subject, dressing appropriately for the building and enhanced by natural light.
