Kathy: Ski, sketch and sprain

by Kathy

KATHY: A few sketches from Obergurgl – some more abstract than others but I thought I’d try freeing up my sketchbook with a bit of abstraction and collage .. some more successful than others!

MARIA: Lovely work Kathy, I like the textures and the atmosphere. I also remember Obergurgl from many years ago. A day trip out to the edge of Tirol, bleak isolated place once the snow has melted.
CHRIS: Hi Kathy really love these especially the last two. Amazing ![]()
ESTHER: Yes me too – all fab but the collages are especially striking xx
KATHY: Thanks Maria – it really is a stunning place but at the moment it seems to be at the tipping point between winter and spring with snow on the mountains clear pathways in the town but great clumps of snow hanging trepidaciously off the buildings .
DAVID: Nice work @Kathy Roberts . I believe skiing is good.
KATHY: Great ta DG – although did manage to sprain my ankle walking down the road! ![]()
